We need to work with your brain, not against it.

Many people arrive in my sessions believing they’re doing life wrong. Shaped by years of being told to tone down, speed up, or be different. They’ve tried to fit into a neurotypical mould, hoping that would make things easier, but it never truly works.

Your brain is different, let's work with it, not against it.

I'll use my expertise in therapeutic coaching and neurodiversity and you'll use your expertise of you, your life and how you feel.

We'll build a set of strategies and tools that work for you.

You are not lazy, you might be in survival mode.

Neurodiverse folks tend to get more dysregulated.

Your nervous system takes input from - light, sound, touch, taste and smell. If you are more sensitive to these things, that can lead to dysregulation.

When dysregulated you have less blood flow to some parts of your brain, making it harder to carry out executive functioning tasks.

Let's be clear, dysregulation isn't a choice, it's about feeling unsafe. Through working together we can develop a set of tools to help you feel more regulated and more able to do things you want to do in life.

Are you doing what you want?
Or what you think you're supposed to be doing?

So often in my sessions people say I think that's what other people want from me and when I ask the question do you want that? It's something they've rarely thought of.

Especially for people getting diagnosed as adults, growing up felt confusing.

Why do I keep getting this wrong?

Why are other people laughing?

Why are other people making eye contact?

Why is everyone talking so slowly?

So the focus becomes more on what other people think and feel instead of how you feel, what you want.

We'll work together on rebalancing that focus.
